Voyage Trace is a historical navigation mystery for iPhone. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app and this website.

Nothing. Voyage Trace has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
02What stays on your device
Your investigations, finished reconstructions, statistics, optional name, chosen emblem and preferences are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
03Network
The app works fully offline. Voyages, charts, the archive and the guide are built into the app, and it does not connect to our servers or anyone else's.
04Third parties
There are no third-party services, SDKs or advertising networks in the app. Coastline outlines come from Natural Earth, a public domain map dataset bundled with the app.
The app is distributed through Apple's App Store. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated crash and usage statistics. This is controlled by Apple and by you, and can be turned off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements. Apple's handling of data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
05Deleting your data
Settings › Reset progress erases your investigations and statistics. Deleting the app removes everything it stored, including your profile.
06Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
07This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address as part of that standard request; see Google's Privacy Policy.
The contact form on this website does not store or transmit what you type. To make sure your message reaches us, please email us directly.
08If you email us
When you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, we never sell or share it, and we delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.
09Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page and in the app with a new date.
